Training for Civil Society in Gyumri

The Component 3 experts conducted a Civil Society capacity building seminar in Gyumri, Shirak region of Armenia on July 11-12, 2024. Based on the needs of the local CSOs discovered during the Civil Society mapping exercise in 2023, the expert team linked the capacity building on theory of change and effective communication to the CEPA implementation.

The expert team distributed the materials related to the CEPA implementation on local self-government and local development encouraging the participants to come up with community specific issues that link up with the relevant articles and parts of the CEPA agreement. Also to localize the CEPA provisions to the needs of their communities and to think of further monitoring of CEPA implementation with assessment of its impact on the local communities.
