Civil Society monitoring of CEPA implementation in Armenia
Digital Information Resource Center for Civil Society: Collection, Organization and Information Sharing
What?
All interested organizations and individuals of the civil society will be able to upload and post their materials on this platform, use the materials already developed by other experts, organize debates and discussions on various issues, evaluate the deliverables of CEPA that have already been completed.
This platform will be useful also for the Armenian Government as the civil society organizations of Armenia and independent researchers will present their findings and urgent issues to both the interested professionals and to the general public. They will be able to discuss, get opinions and invest all of that in the implementation of the CEPA.
Why?
Today, the role of the civil society is significantly increasing in the process of implementation of the Comprehensive and Enlarged Partnership Agreement (CEPA) from the point of view of conducting independent and impartial monitoring.
This Platform should become a space where the civil society will present its evaluations, monitoring reports, and ideas for changes at the policy and actions level. All of this should help to implement the actions enshrined in the Agreement not only quickly, but also with high quality, bringing a real and tangible change, which will be felt by every citizen of Armenia.
How ?
All this will be done by direct contact with interested people and organizations, receiving information, questions, monitoring reports, policy documents, briefs and summaries, evaluations and other documents that will become the subject of discussion and debate.
The online resource will operate maintaining high ethical standards and principles of integrity for professional and research work. The platform will serve as an advocacy tool for civil society to present their ideas, proposals, and approaches to the large public and decision makers.
