Meeting on CEPA implementation

A joint meeting between the EU Delegation,  Support to CEPA Monitoring, Implementation and Communication project and Armenian government was held on 16 January 2024 in Yerevan. The objective of this gathering, named CEPA Retreat, was to bring together Government officials, Members of Parliament, and EU representatives to discuss the implementation of the Comprehensive Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA).

Both EU and Armenian participants have expressed their interest in further upgrading arrangements for CEPA solid implementation and underlined its importance in their long lasting relation. Both parties reaffirmed their commitments to deepening their cooperation. The audience, composed of 76 participants, has shared freely insights on CEPA implementation and monitoring during two brainstorming sessions. These unique open discussions gave the opportunity to assess the progress, report on obstacles on the way of the CEPA implementation in Armenia.
